Why is the Criminal Justice agents and the Courts incarcerating the poor, disabled, and the middle class for breaking the laws against harming themselves and for not knowingly breaking the laws; but when it comes to Law Enforcement agents who use their badge to murder seven year old little girls and Oil Companies who endanger the whole world, and the financial institutions who steal the elderly pensions and the middle class workers 401Ks' and homes; no body goes to prison but, Bernie Madeoff? Everyday I listen to the media talking heads talking about everything but what is important to "We the people." This is the game as I see it. The taxpayers loose no matter what! When a crime is committed "we the people" want the person who did the crime to be incarcerated. The whole reason behind incarceration is to protect the citizen or none citizen from society or to protect society from the citizen until proven guilty. Either way it goes the taxpayers are left to pick up the tab. You see "we the people" pay the salaries of all the law enforcement agents even if it is in the form of a grant. So now I say as an American Citizen......I would rather that the citizen be given a job, and become a taxpayer. Right now we have less taxpayers than "we the people" have criminals.
It appears that "We the people" are getting pimped by the criminal justice system, the homeless, mentally challenge, and the physically challenged citizens. It appears that our prisons, jails, and detention facilities are being filled up with more disturbed citizens than career criminals. I was looking at "COPS" the other night on television and the citizens the police were arresting and putting in jail was in need of treatment not punishment. Come on American Citizens wake up! If you feel like I do then we need to change how the America Criminal Justice System deal with victimless crimes, domestic abuse, drugs, and drunkenness. What kind of nation do we live in that will ticket a child for smoking cigarettes and then when the child do not follow up on the ticket they are placed in detention. Once again the criminal justice system, the juvenile system, and the court system is pimping the taxpayers so that they can justify their employment; in the mean time we are loosing the next generation of adult men and women.
"We The People" have to try something new to save the next generation of men and women; by saying if you are arrested for using drugs, drunkenness, domestic abuse, victimless crimes you will be given employment and treatment instead of a cell, free medical care, three meals and a snack a day, and treatment at the taxpayers expense. Unless you or your parents can afford to pay for your full stay in jail, prison, or detention you will be given employment. Come on what do you say? We as taxpayers cannot afford to pay for incarceration for stupid stuff anymore.
Well it looks like not only are the courts taking away main street protection against criminals with badges; now we have legislation going through state legislation to prevent "we the people" from filming the police doing their job.........does this means the television show cops will be taken off the air? American Citizens once law enforcement from Main Street to Washington D.C. makes it illegal for the public to film the police being criminals with badges; then we as a nation might as well start walking into the gas champers on our own, because it is just a matter of time before the war on the streets will be between the criminals and the law enforcement. Remember police abuse in Iraq under Saddam Hussein watch is the reason for the Taliban blowing up the police departments and murdering the police officers in groups. All is not well with main street when both sides believe they are at war with each other. I know you all have seen the white police officer punch a young American African teenager in the face and the American African community leaders said "she had to apologized" because "we the people" cannot touch the police officers. However, if the police officer was black and hit a white teenager in the face; he would be facing criminal charges today. You see if it is a crime for me to hit a rowdy child or teenager in the face then my question is why is it okay for a police officer to hit a teenager in the face? This is just my question to "we the people." If a teenager can be rowdy with a veteran, who put his life on the line for this country, and not get hit in the face why do these police officers think that they are untouchable to "we the people?" Is it because "we the people" think more highly of the police than we ought to? If so this mindset must be changed. Police officers who handcuff five year old for throwing a tantrum; punch teenagers in the mouth for confronting them on their harassment for jaywalking must be charged with failing to follow policy and procedure. Otherwise I say in our old age "we the people" will have the next generation of detached adults who will be silent when it comes to helping the elderly of the world. What "we the people" need in Congress on the state and federal level are more citizens, like Al Franken, who will not see the police and the Supreme Court as the sacred lamb.
